The H2020 BEYOND project is organising a virtual workshop on 29 September 2021 on "Data and intelligence sharing for transforming buildings into active nodes in the future energy system - driving energy efficiency" as part of the  9th annual edition of Sustainable Places (SP2021).

RES4BUILD partners VITO Energyville are presenting their work on building energy management systems at this workshop. VITO Energyville are leading RES4BUILD WP3 on integrated generation, storage and flexibility management. As part of the WP they are developing a system system numerical model with energy generation and storage technologies, grey-box models for the dynamic thermal behaviour of buildings and Energy Management Strategies to determine the optimal control as well as a simulation platform to balance passive measures and active flexibility control.
