The prototype PVT collector developed by MG Sustainable Engineering and HIG as part of the RES4BUILD project has been shipped to NCSRD in Greece. Outdoor tests have been initiated following the testing procedure of Solar Keymark where applicable. Both thermal and electrical properties are measured in the accredited solar laboratory of NCSRD. The characterisation of the PVT collector will then follow.

These PVT collectors will be used in the pilot RES4BUILD system along with the heat pump and other components, which will be developed in 2021 and tested for a whole year in Greece and in Denmark.
