When it comes to Smart Buildings, the silent champions of the clean energy transition were featured in an article by smartEn director, Frauke Thies, in the latest European Energy Innovation publication.

She highlighted the important role Smart Buildings will play in our future energy systems, “As Smart Buildings increasingly interact with the energy system, they can take up a significant role in system flexibility”. 

An important part of the RES4BUILD project is the Building Energy Management System, and its connection to the grid.
